Religon (Bit scared about what this topic might do)

AS we have 2 (that I know of) religious people on the forum. I thought it would be nice and controversial. I used to have a huge problem with Christianity as OH would tell you because I once got slightly brainwash at a church of England school. They wouldn't let me eat unless I prayed. But I realized not all Christians are forceful and oppressive. And I think that believing in something is alright if someone has sufficient evidence.

My religious beliefs are complicated. I don't really consider myself to be religious though I am Christian. Then there's the whole evolution debate, wherein I think of it as "Both are true." Basically, I think that Monkeys were originally made somewhat similar to humans, but God wasn't satisfied with the end result, so he did a bit of stuff with them and created humans. Settles the "Why do monkeys still exist" debate well enough.

Course I don't come with any discriminations or whatever. Fine with trannies, gays, etc...

I'm also not one of those "My Religions are better and more correct than yours." Folks.

When I say they wouldn't let me eat:

It was a situation where I was bored with them telling us what to do, so when they told us all to say Grace I refused, and I wasn't allowed to eat my lunch until I did.

I think that it ok in whatever people think/belive in as long as they dont try to force it upon other people

Well I think it has to be within reason eg. christianity is fine as are all major religions but believing that suspension bridges should rule your life is just stupid.

Now if any people did believe that suspension bridges should be our masters, that's fine. At least there is some hard evidence that these bridges exist. I'm not saying there isn't evidence for Good, but there isn't much hard evidence of skilm.
